“Chu Chu Lagos Express”

Once upon a time in Lagos, there was a magical train called the Chu Chu Lagos Express. It had shiny blue cars that sparkled in the sunlight. The train loved to zoom through the city, carrying happy passengers from one station to another.

Tolu and Funmi were best friends who lived near the Marina station. Every morning, they would wave to the Chu Chu Lagos Express as it chugged by. One day, the train’s conductor, Mr. Ade, invited them for a special ride.

Tolu and Funmi hopped onto the train. The doors closed with a cheerful “ding-dong,” and off they went! The train zipped past the National Theatre, and Tolu giggled as he saw the colorful lights.

At each station, the Chu Chu Lagos Express would stop. But these were no ordinary stations—they could talk! The Marina station said, “Welcome aboard, little travelers!” The Iganmu station added, “Hold on tight!”

Mr. Ade handed Tolu and Funmi special cowry cards. “These cards are magic,” he said. “Tap them, and they’ll take you anywhere!” Tolu tapped his card, and suddenly, they were at Alaba station.

Orile station had a surprise—a giant mural of dancing elephants! Funmi clapped her hands, and the elephants wiggled their trunks. “This is the best train ride ever!” she exclaimed.

As the sun set, the Chu Chu Lagos Express returned to Marina station. Tolu and Funmi waved goodbye to their magical adventure. “We’ll ride again tomorrow,” they promised.

And so, the Chu Chu Lagos Express continued its joyful journey, bringing smiles to children’s faces. Who knows what other magical secrets it held?
