Important announcement about our Patreon Subscription!
If you are already a Patron this shouldn’t affect you, but if you’re an Apple/iOS user and you are considering joining our Ghosty Fam you will want to do so BEFORE NOVEMBER 2024!
This is the message we got from Patreon:
“Apple is requiring that Patreon use their in-app purchasing system and remove all other billing systems from the Patreon iOS app by November 2024. This means that starting in November, new memberships purchased in the iOS app will be subject to Apple's 30% App Store fee.
We want to be clear about one thing: this will not impact your existing membership at all. Apple's App Store fee only applies to new memberships purchased in the iOS app beginning in November 2024.”
This means that if you want to join our Ghosty Fam, you have to do it through the Apple app, and you will have to pay 30% more than members not on iOS. (ugh, giving me one more reason to hate their products and policies.)
So if you're on the fence, please come over and join now! You can join at just one dollar per month* to start. Though to be honest, I have no idea what would happen if you upped your amount after this heinous thing goes into effect.
