Today’s the last day of my challenge. My original ride goal for this year was 300 miles, last week I raised my goal to 350 and Saturday morning I finished up with 405 miles. My fundraising goal is $3000 and I am just shy of that by $219. I want to thank everyone who has donated and encouraged me and prayed for me and my efforts this year, you are all truly amazing and have encouraged and been a blessing to the families of these little ones battling this terrible disease! I just completed my last ride for this years Great Cycle Challenge USA. This is the last weekend and I am hoping to make my financial goal of $3000 which is $318 away. Your contributions are 100% tax deductible and will give these kids the strength to keep fighting and the hope that better treatments and cures will be discovered to fight this terrible disease. Great Cycle Challenge USA Update! I have just finished the 3rd week of this challenge and was $46 away from my goal of $2500 and I thought “WAIT! I still have a week to go and so many have generously pulled together to contribute, I can’t stop now!
So, I have raised my goal to $3000!
AND, I have also raised my riding goal to 350miles to continue to make people aware of this research fund raiser to fight Childhood Cancer, which is what this is all about!

It was time… Strava tells me I have 2,843 miles on these tires, which makes them more susceptible to puncture, which happened this morning. So! New tires and a spare tube. All aired up and ready to go!

My ride ended unexpectedly this morning after 5 miles due to a flat tire…
