SHE WORE 2 MEDALS IN TOKYO! 🏅🎖️

In an interview with the media on Tuesday, Olympic Gold Medalist Hidilyn Diaz shares that her faith made her stronger during her historic match in Tokyo.

Hidilyn, an attendee of The Feast, was seen wearing a Miraculous Medal during the awarding ceremony which is a gift from a friend of hers.

"Miraculous Medal po. Binigay ng friend ko (sa akin). Nag-novena sila for 9 days before my competition. Ako din nag-novena - its a sign of 'yung prayers nila and faith pa rin to Mama Mary and Jesus Christ."

Talk 10: Great and Simple
Our big message today is, “Throw away the ladder”.

Kingdom With No Ladders
Everywhere we look in the world, we see a hierarchy where the rich and powerful are on top, and the poor and social rejects are at the bottom.

Today, we’ll talk about how Jesus came to build a Kingdom with no ladders. He did it by treating the social rejects as beautiful human beings, worthy of dignity because He saw them as God-containers.

He also, from the very start of his human life, go to the bottom of the world’s ladder, by dying on the Cross, and pushing us up from our own respective “bottoms”.

The "greatest" in the kingdom is the one who humbles himself like a child. Temptation is unavoidable in earthly life, but it's worth going to extremes to avoid falling for it. Even so, those who fall should not be hated and despised. God the Father values them highly and wants none of them to perish.
