Finally a place to get the agenda and minutes for Gilman's city council meetings. New agendas and minutes will be available as soon as available and received. The Open Meetings Law require public notice for each Council meeting at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. Once the minutes have been written, they become public records open to public inspection (even if they have not been formally approv

ed). As defined by Iowa Code, within 15 days of a meeting, minutes for council meetings must be published in the newspaper for general circulation.
