A lot of people believe that all they need is DAW software to make a good recording. Here's a great article on a man I am proud to call a friend, Phil Stahl. I first became aware of him through the TV show he hosted which featured music by local artists. I did not he was a musician himself; I just thought he was an amusing host. Then I happened to hear him perform and was just knocked out. Like the article says, he is the real deal. If you ever get the chance to hear him, do it. Or wait for the album we're working on to come out (if he can ever find an opening in his busy performing schedule to come back to Allegra and work on it).
