WRATH OF MAN 2

Wrath of Man is a 2021 action thriller heist film directed by Guy Ritchie, from a script he co-wrote with Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies, and is loosely based on the 2004 French film Cash Truck by Nicolas Boukhrief. It is Ritchie's fourth directorial collaboration with lead actor Jason Statham, and first since Revolver (2005). Statham stars as H, a new cash truck driver in Los Angeles whose thwarting of a robbery leads to his skillset with guns and mysterious past being questioned. Holt McCallany, Jeffrey Donovan, Chris Reilly, Josh Hartnett, Laz Alonso, Raúl Castillo, DeObia Oparei, Eddie Marsan, and Scott Eastwood also star.
Wrath of Man was released in several countries on April 22, 2021, and in the United States on May 7. The film has grossed $104 million worldwide and received mixed reviews from critics upon release, who praised the action sequences but criticized the plot.

A Jon Snow sequel is officially in the works, and this spinoff series could very well feel like Game of Thrones season 9 in everything but name. When Game of Thrones concluded in 2019, HBO had already made it clear that there were plans to further explore the world of Westeros. At that time, however, the expectation was that the spinoffs would be entirely new stories, with little to no direct connection to Game of Thrones. While prequels seemed likely, sequels appeared unlikely.

That perspective has shifted with the announcement of a Jon Snow sequel, where Kit Harington reprises his iconic role, continuing his journey after the events of Game of Thrones. Snow is set to be its own unique series, with a fresh creative team at the helm—without the involvement of showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. However, despite this shift, the spinoff will remain deeply tied to its parent show. As a result, it will essentially serve as the closest thing to a Game of Thrones season 9.

MORTAL KOMBAT 2 A First Look That Will Change Everything
The fighting video game series of the same name developed by Midway Games served as the inspiration for the American martial arts action movie franchise Mortal Kombat. Threshold Entertainment, owned by Lawrence Kasanoff, produced the first movie. Mortal Kombat, the first movie, came out in 1995, and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, the sequel, came out in 1997. Game publisher Midway declared bankruptcy following the release of the two movies. After operating as independent Time Warner divisions for more than ten years, Warner Bros. acquired New Line Cinema in 2008 and attempted to acquire the majority of Midway's assets, including Mortal Kombat. Kasanoff and Threshold filed a bankruptcy lawsuit in June 2009, claiming that they were the owners of the rights to numerous series characters.
On July 1, 2009, the bankruptcy court approved the sale of most of Midway's assets to Warner Bros. subject to the intellectual property claims of Threshold Entertainment. After years of development hell, a reboot of the series was released in April 2021.
