Norfolk Southern will have KY32 temporarily closed at 8am on Tuesday morning as they unload equipment.

After unload is complete, they estimate having it partially closed (with traffic control present) until 1:00 pm.

Due to last night’s train derailment, Norfolk Southern has shut down KY32 from the fire station to the tunnel as they attempt to clear the wreckage and equipment.

They have advised us the timetable on this isn’t clear due to the impending weather and overall difficulty.

Traffic in and out of Sadieville will be diverted until they have completed the cleanup.

We will provide updates as we get them.
