Los Angeles/Texas Casting Director, Donise L. Hardy, CSA, owner and founder of A CASTING PLACE has been a leader in casting TV commercials for over 30+ years. With experience in casting feature films, TV shows and industrials, Donise has always concentrated on commercials.

• an overview of the industry • the reality of the hard work involved • an evaluation of head shots and resumes • getting/keeping an agent • marketing hints • networking opportunities
• self-taped auditions and insider tips that only a Casting Director with her vast experience would know

Whom better to take a class with than someone who has literally conducted hundreds of thousands of auditions?

Prepare to be on-camera auditioning both solo and with partners performing scripts that have been previously cast by Donise. Each commercial is taped, played back and critiqued to allow for astonishingly quick improvement.

A few days before the workshop, registrants will receive an email with information regarding parking and brings. The workshop is held at the Georgetown Palace Playhouse, 216 W. 8th Street in Georgetown and begins promptly at 10AM and lasts until approximately 6PM. We will take a short break for lunch and order pizza (usually $5 per person). Feel free to bring your own lunch but refrigeration is not available.

Individualized attention is of paramount importance, so enrollment is strictly limited to 12 students. Classes fill immediately, so send the registration right away! All persons attending must provide proof of Covid-19 immunization or a negative Covid-19 test administered within 2 days before the workshop.
