Did you know today is Palmetto Giving Day? Did you also know that CHRSC has locally distributed more than a 100,000 lbs of food through their Foodshare program?
The community garden itself has produced more than 8500 lbs of food, and also over 8000 heads of lettuce have been grown hydroponically and distributed in your community.
The work the garden does is beyond a numerical value. At its core, though, CHRSC is not just feeding this county, we are nourishing the lives of countless children through mentorship programs and starting gardens within our schools.
Today is the day the community can give back to an organization that works so hard to produce life lasting results through their “Teach, Feed, Succeed” concept. Please take the time to donate, and make a difference in someone’s life.
