I know y'all are tired of my statics. You can not change without awareness.
We are ranked 125 in the world in literacy, and 45 million Americans read below 6th grade level. Those people live in poverty, due to lack of education. If we do not turn it around hello socialism.

June 11 there will be public input on hiring new Superintendent of Education. 6 to 7. I have done research and found extremely scary data. 10 years ago we adopted Common Core curriculum. This has been a failure. This is statewide. Currently only 16% of the 4 high school students in Georgetown County are proficient in math. We need a superintendent that will fight to change the curriculum. Math and language are necessary to every part of daily life and we have failed our children.
