Geneseo Current

Geneseo Current Always free. Always local. Always Geneseo. A media company fueled by what is happening today We are a multi‐media company that covers everything Geneseo.

What began in 2020 as an idea has grown into a modern news source with traditional values. Reminiscing about our own childhoods, we remember how we couldn’t wait to pick up a newspaper and see our photo from the little league ball game. It was a thrill to be recognized and highlighted in the community, and we have already begun to reignite that excitement. From the start of our company, we wante

d to guarantee free local media coverage of hometown events, special features, exclusive video series, and community‐focused articles. While we got started on social media during the pandemic, we have always planned to utilize a website and different media formats ranging from graphics, videos, and photography. Geneseo Current was founded by Dalcon DeMaranville, Art Neuleib, Garrett Newman, and Jim VanOpdorp. We have so many projects in the pipeline to make the Geneseo Current a unique and exciting experience for all who love Geneseo.
