❄️✨hey y'all! I've been asked to share our updated Amazon wishlist. This has current things that would be extremely beneficial in rebuilding our lives and restarting my dog treat business. 🐾 We've also had several people ask where they could send a package and we officially have a PO Box! 📬 I will include that address at the bottom. Along with our PayPal, we've also recently set up Zelle and can now receive funds straight through our bank account. 🏦 We're so thankful to all of our friends that have prayed for us and kept us close. Every prayer that's been whispered, every kind word or late night check in has been deeply felt and appreciated. We love you all so very much!

✨ Update 11/14 ✨

~We have another week at the motel, thanks to an incredible lady that posted in a help chat this morning. Not only are we secure for this week, but she is working on getting us into a camper! We're trying to find a local place to put the camper, but we have a place in Blountville that's offering to put it on her land for a few months and she's ok with our dogs. It is truly an incredible offer. 🙏🏻

~Mike spoke with FEMA (TWO hours on the phone!) but we finally got somewhere! When looking at the housing assistance that's been provided by FEMA, the worker immediately called for a supervisor saying we should have already been approved for continued assistance. LONG story short, we should have housing assistance funds within 1-5 days. That will be extremely helpful to get into the camper and get SETTLED IN for a few months. Finally get some normalcy and peace. 🙌🏻

~We're exhausted today. The rain and stress has me flared up even more than normal. We're nuking some easy dinners and putting our feet up for a while. 🙃👣🍽️

~God has poured blessing after blessing over us today. It's time to soak in the glory of His wondrous love! 👑🥰

These kids 🐾 have enjoyed every second of this little cabin! I think their favorite part is mommy 🛋️ sleeping on the couch. I can't climb 🪜 the stairs here.... neither can they! That's ok though 🍽️ because I'm super close to the kitchen!

Unfortunately our stay 🪵 here is coming to an end. They had it rented out already, quite the 💍 anniversary getaway. We're still waiting ⌛ on FEMA. We've been told multiple times that everything is in order, we're just waiting on "the process". 🫠 That's not as helpful as they seem to think it is.

We've found a motel 🏫 that has an opening for a weekly room. This would be EXTREMELY temporary ⏱️ as pricing is outrageous. With fees waived (for relief help) the 💲 total cost for a week is $350. We just don't have that. Bouncing around, extra mileage, and multiple other expenses 💰 have drained us.

Jesus knows my every need and my downfall... He sees my every mistake. He sees my every doubt. Y'all, He sees the ugly things in my head and my heart. All of it! 🌎

Even with all that, He still 💀 for ME! He loves messed up, undeserving, loser-face ME! His love for me NEVER FAILS. He always makes a way. HALLELUJAH 🙌🏻🥹

There is SO much hate flying all around today. No matter what side, no matter what color you choose... I love you. And I can tell you without a single doubt that my love is peanuts in comparison to my Father's love for YOU. I can't speak for anyone but myself and my husband (with permission) but we love you. 🫂 🫂

✨ Update 11/2 ✨

Tonight brings an overwhelming rush of different emotions. Exhaustion, fear, gratefulness, hope... they've all had a play today. We've been trying for several days to get in touch with people to update our stay, due to the wait on FEMA.

Long, looong story. In between trips to stash our belongings somewhere, Ms. Carol (the homeowner that we had absolutely no contact information for) called us. I had left our number because checkout was at 10 am and it was already 11 am. This wonderful woman donated the house for weekend to us. PRAISE JESUS 🙏🏻 We will be moving to a cabin until the 7th of November. God is still in control!

With that being said, we are working towards the homestead lifestyle. We know that times are incredibly hard and very likely going to get worse. This Amazon list will get us started in the right direction, while keeping us safe and warm. Please share this with friends and family that may have items similar for donation if you're close by us! ✨ ALL animals are HOME and safe! ✨ Mike and I are safe. ✨ Our home is still standing Our water is off with no known timeframe. Due to extenuating circumstances, we're currently running on a generator. Clean up is going to be a process. Our little town has suffered a massive hit. Businesses (LOTS of small businesses) have been completely destroyed. Homes literally washed down the river behind our house. Roads, bridges, and railroad tracks have been busted, broken, and compromised. We honestly tried to prepare, but how do you prepare for the unknown? The river rose over 26 feet. 🤯 Our house has about 3 ft of water damage on the back inside. We need quite a few things. Baby wipes, construction sized trash bags, lysol, etc. There are so many things to do and we're just a little stunned. I am posting our PayPal for anyone that wants to help with necessities. If you are able and feel led to do so, please look into donating relief funds for the Cocke County area or any other areas that have been devastated. Mornings ☀️ at our house! Neighbor Roo yells 📢 at Casserole and they 🐥 spend all morning arguing 😂 CJ (Casserole Jr) is learning 🧠 his crow.... 🐓 He sounds like the rubber squeeze chickens!
