Inspired by the book The Blessing by John Trent and Gary Smalley, Lisa Fletcher started to play what she called "the game". At bedtime, she would tell her children what she loved about them that day. Through all the good times and bad, this game would remind the children they are loved.

Meet Tia the tightrope walker!

As Jack explores the Fantastical Traveling Circus Brigade, he meets Tia who teaches him that her act requires the virtue of patience. Tia cannot immediately attempt to learn tricks on the tightrope but must first become skilled at balancing on the tightrope. Then, after she becomes skilled at tricks on the tightrope, she must gradually raise it higher and higher before she is skilled enough to perform her act.

Follow along in Jack and the Fantastical Circus as Jack meets various characters who teach Jack how their acts require them to practice certain virtues to reach success.

Silence is countercultural In this fast-moving digital age where there is a surplus of information, but we should remember how crucial it is to fostering a relationship with God.

God did not appear to Elijah in the great wind, the earthquake or the fire, but in the whistling of a gentle air. Spending time in silence can help ground us and reconnect us to God's will in our lives which we could miss if we never slow down to listen.

Patience is a girl who, oddly enough, doesn’t possess a great deal of patience which causes all sorts of problems. From lessons learned through gardening with Daddy to experiencing Mama’s pregnancy to observing God’s patience play out in nature and in her own life, Patience comes to realize that patience is about more than just waiting, it is about learning to trust and accept that God knows better than we do.

We must understand how large of a role parent-to-child reading plays in the development of children, and we must be willing to give it the priority it merits over television and other forms of media which are not as beneficial.
