It's that time again for those who actually do this, but it's time to Spring Forward so don't forget to turn up those clocks 1 hour and also don't forget to check your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors if you have them and if you dont...GET ONE! Crystal Ball's Corner: So, it looks like 'shade' is out before spring as even started...well, for Chaka Kahn...she didn't seem to be too thrilled that she was ranked below Mariah Carey and Adele, and other ladies on the Rolling Stone top 200 singers of all time...ok...to be honest, just be happy that they even thought to put your name on the list...some of their choices are questionable anyway hee hee...but, Chaka did apologize so it's all good hee hee. But is it all good between Chris Rock and Will Smith? Chris took to the stage with a Netflix special and yes, he went there...personally, he should have really just let it fade, but at least his side is out there, but in a comedic way.

Magic Carpet's Corner: So of course the Oscars are tomorrow so he is flying to make a visit and an appearance with his cousin the 'Champaign Carpet'...but he brought us this news this week...The Voice is back with two veteran coaches Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton (who is doing his last season) and two new coaches Niall Horan and Chance the Rapper...so far Niall has quickly learned the tricks of Blake and from what we hear does a pretty good impression too, hee hee! Fashion week has just passed too, and it seems like Kylie Jenner passed her baby daddy to Avril Lavigne as the Magic Carpet spotted them and their pda...hmm, fashion brings passion hee hee.

Crystal Ball's Vibes of the week: So we have a lot...turns out that the feud may still be going on in the Royal Family as King Charles has evicted Harry and Meghan out of the home at Windor that was given to them by the Queen...so is that really fair? It really isn't his to evict but then again he is the king now so...still not cool...wishing them all love and that they can repair this family rift. Kelly Osbourne has welcomed a baby boy congratulations, and Tom Brady has adopted two cats, also congratulations Cat Dad.

For Lovers of Michael and all things Jackson, it's your girl, the Opus Lady back with this very quick report...Happy February to all and this month we celebrate Black History Month, Heart Health Month, Valentine's Day, Presidents' Day, the Daytona 500, but on everyone's mind today is the Super Bowl...good luck to the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs...but let's get into the news...In Crystal Ball's Corner we have the Grammys, congratulations to all of the winners and to Harry Styles for Album of the Year, and Beyonce for making history with the most grammys won! The Crystal Ball is lighting up with joy too for Meghan Trainor and husband on the announcement of their 2nd baby, well, the expecting off hee hee! In Magic Carpet's Moments...he is cracking up at the fact that Shania Twain changed the lyrics to her popular son 'That Don't Impress Me Much' from using Brad Pitt's name to now Ryan Reynolds...hee hee...to be honest, I'm not impressed by either hee hee...they are ok, like the song says...so no offense. In Tito's Tale...he is sharing the news of nephew Jaafar playing MJ in the new biopic, but he also has a new song out...'Attitude'...In Memoriam, this week we lost songwriter Burt Bacharach. He will be greatly missed.

For lovers of Michael and all things Jackson, it's your girl, the Opus Lady, back with this week's 'modified' report...yes, we are starting a new format so that you'll have all of the latest news and stories right in one place...As always, we will have stories from the Magic Carpet and the Crystal Ball, but right here! So, let's get to it...
Crystal Ball's Corner: We have some very varied news this week hee hee...First we have to start with Alec Baldwin...so he is being charged with involuntary manslaughter for the incident that occurred on the set of his film 'Rust'...we think this is a tragic story and we stress gun safety at all times! Next we have Paris Hilton. We send her and her husband congratulations on the birth of their son! And...now Justin Bieber...so, he sold his music catalog...he hasn't been around for 30+ years so what's up? Personally we have heard some rumors, but the Crystal Ball is pretty lit up and vibrating on this one too...does he need money? Well, we don't know for sure, but living the life of a star without recoup of funds spent will do that...but, we'll let Justin tell us...
Magic Carpet's Mischievous Moments: The Magic Carpet has one big moment this week...he got to go to the wedding of Buzz Aldrin on his 93rd birthday! Congratulations on both events! The Magic Carpet and Buzz sat around and reminisced about their time in space back in the day hee hee!

For lovers of Michael and all things Jackson, it's your girl, the Opus Lady back...with a very short report, because we are still getting everything together...hee hee...resolutions...but we digress...this week I just want to talk to you about some important things. First we have to acknowledge some people that we have lost recently...Barbara Walters and Lisa Marie Presley. Though Lisa's passing came as a shock, we want to discuss the importance of grief...it is not the same for everyone at the same time. There are 5 main steps that we go through, but let's be honest, you never fully get over losses of the ones you love. There are ways to grieve but again, it's different for everyone and we cannot judge the process. it is important to support each other. So if you know someone is grieving just be there for them and just listen because their love is strong and their loved one is important and they want them to be honored. Today is also Martin Luther King Jr. day and we need to constantly revisit what he stood for and what his dream is. We must learn to come together in peace and love and we are all equal and we can all make a difference. I know this is not the typical Opus report, but I just wanted to share some thoughts to ponder so that we can all heal as one. Have a great day and love one another. Now, I have to go get the Magic Carpet and the Crystal Ball and get them back on track...they are trying to do 75 Hard hee hee.
