Whew! The first session of Foreteller of Doom was epic! I had to change a lot of the story because picked Ryan Dallion, from Friday the 13th the series (for the first time). He 'should've' had inside knowledge of what was going on so I had to five a bit. But the final confrontation was really cool, thanks to Anita Blake using her skills to exorcise the witch's ghost!

Well, apparently GENCON will not have room for my miniatures game anytime in the near future, so they cancelled my events. I will STILL bring copies of the Game booklet to show around and try to spark some interest. I intend to talk to the organizers of WHOSYERCON and see if there might be room there come next year. Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know that "A Gaggle of Galloping...." will NOT be run this year.... which is sad, because as you may have guessed, it's Scooby-Doo themed. :-(

Session 1 of "Space Oddity." Yes, based on the David Bowie song and the "remake" by Peter Schilling. The characters found out that sometimes you CAN go home...and freeze your wife...and some Russian soldiers, CIA flunkies, etc.

Alright folks, I've been able to submit my games for this year's GENCON. It's been a very very busy week and I just never got around to posting these on THIS page. If you have any questions, feel free to post and ask :

Return of the....WTH is this thing ??? Several insurance claims have been filed by residents of Box Elder, SD, stating that their pets, both small and large, have been disappearing at an alarming rate. The only clue left behind was a strange, pink gelatinous substance that no one has been able to identify. Is it alien abduction, some weird kind of animal rustling, or something even more sinister?

Foreteller of Doom Sarah Bartlett, a renowned artist, has asked her friend Carl Kolchak, for help in discovering why she has been painting disastrous scenes that have somehow been coming true. Some of these catastrophes have even occurred hundreds of miles away. She is terrified to pick up her brush again, fearful that she is somehow causing them to happen. Is she right, or is there something much more ominous happening? Join Blade Runner Press for an encounter no one is prepared for....

And back again..... A Gaggle of Galloping..... After surviving the horrors of General Hospital, Kelly Robinson mysteriously has transported your team of investigators into a room full of ....balloons? Then a high, squeaky laugh reaches your ears. Whew...it's been a busy year...and not in the good sense. Anyone that follows my regular page knows that I've had 4 eye surgeries this year. Yeah....ugh.
Now...on the good side : I have finished the rules for Endless Terrors : the miniatures game. It is at the printer's as we speak.
Next...I have registered for next year's Whosyercon and am running 2 games, Friday morning and afternoon and Saturday morning and afternoon. They are the same ones that I ran at GENCON. If you would like a full description of them, let me know.
I am also diligently working on the Enemy Engaged rules in order to make them marketable as well. If anyone would like to make some suggestions, I would appreciate it. I am also looking for someone who can design some spaceships for me.

I'm home, safe and sound. I want to thank not only MY players, but all the other GMs who made my convention such a great time. They, too, are the ones responsible for giving the rest of us a fun 4 days. I hope to see you all next year !

Day 2 of GENCON : ran 2 sessions of Endless Terrors : The Night the Lights Went Out....yes, ANOTHER adventure based on a song (can you see a pattern here?) The lyrics gave the story -- I just had to fill in some blanks. Both of my groups found the puzzle pieces to the almost- sad storyline about betrayal, murder, and ghosts. A special thanks to Mark Theurer and his whole group for portraying their characters extremely well and keeping me on my toes by doing some REALLY unexpected things !!

Day 1 of GENCON...ran 2 sessions of Endless Terrors : Space Oddity. Yes, another adventure based on a song (David Bowie's Space Oddity and the renewed version by Peter Schilling). As usual, both groups went in completely opposite directions, which made it even MORE fun for me ! Thanks to everyone, especially my favorite Buffy re-enactor Lisa Devries, who always makes the game fun !!

Sigh.....well, I hate having to make this post but that's life sometimes. Concerning GENCON, I am cancelling the 2 miniature events I WAS scheduling. The Events team screwed up my space request (for those that have played it, I NEED floorspace and CANNOT run it on tables !! ), and the fact that I've only sold 1 out of 20 tickets, so I'm just not going to bother with it at all this year. That really sucks because all of the villains the PCs were going to fight were all Scooby-Doo characters, each with different abilities. Maybe next year.....

first off, welcome to my new Followers! I don't have 100 yet so I can't tell who they are...LOL Anyway, for anyone that's registering for GENCON tickets this Sunday, ALWAYS remember that I can take 1 or 2 extra players, so if there's a game you REALLY want to get in, save that time slot and I can get you in. I hope to see a lot of you in August !!!

Holy cow ! I haven't laughed so hard than with the group for session 2 of Return of the King. Thanks a ton for all the "lively" role-playing from the whole gang. Again, I had to be on my feet and do a lot of ad-libbing to take them on a different path. Hilarious!!

Okay.....first session of Return of the King was just one laugh after another. The group's final solution was...as Spock would put it...."unique" (there is a Prius with a mangled front end..if that's a hint for you.) Thanks again to everyone who played!

At Whosyercon in Indianapolis. Session 1 of "Down By the River" went really well. No one died \ drowned and the investigators actually picked up all the clues. Awesome job gang!

On Thursday -- Space Oddity: The CIA has contacted McCall International with a strange request : to track and locate an escaped "subject," from one of their holding facilities. Normally this wouldn't be a case for the SCD, so what makes this person "weird, strange, or out of the ordinary?"Join Blade Runner Press for another hair-raising mystery.

On Friday -- The Night the Lights Went Out : McCall sends your team to Carrollton, GA to investigate Webb's Bar and Grille, where patrons have been attacked by what they say are both male AND female entities. Initially, the encounters were simply annoying but now the attacks are getting more and more violent. Blade Runner Press presents another tale of terror from the Beyond.

On Saturday -- Miniatures games A Gaggle of Galloping.... Oh well..can't win 'em all. Only one person showed up for the 2nd minis session and didn't want to play alone (although, in the hour it took me to take everything down, 5 people came up and said "I would've loved to play that! Argh....) Still a great convention with 1 more game to play and shopping tomorrow.

First session of the Endless Terrors minis game, GENERAL HOSPITAL, is in the books. I sold ALL the tickets so I had a full crew! They actually finished in only 3 hours...but I only got to hit someone TWICE! Waaaa....

Oh yeah! Session 4 went really great ! And a couple actually picked Micki Foster and Ryan Dallion (from Friday the 13th : the series) for the 1st time! They solved the mystery, put the 2 spirits to rest, and we all had a good time! Some really good role-playing! Thanks again everyone!!

Once again, ran a great session with some great players. It was Mystery Inc. and Dean Wi******er investigating a haunting. LOTS of laughs (Fred went to an antique store for a suit of armor, battleaxe, and other items to create a trap!), and everyone played their characters wonderfully! As always, thank you to THEM for bringing the game to life !!

Hi everyone! Well, I am very happy to announce that I have everything ready for GENCON with 2 weeks to spare! Those that know me know that I'm usually finishing stuff up the morning I head out for Indy...so I'm happy. LOL I hope to see a lot of old friends there this year, as long as some new friends.
