No purchase is ever required to participate in a Western Kansas Broadcasting contest. You must be at least 18 years old with valid identification at the date and time a contest is played. In the event a particular contest is appropriate for a minor, winners under the age

of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to claim the prize. Both individuals must sign an affidavit/release prior to the receipt of the prize. All contests are subject to federal, state, and local statutes and provisions, including the Federal Communications Commission restrictions. All Western Kansas Broadcasting contests are open to any/all listeners who are legal U.S. residents living or working in the terrestrial listening area unless otherwise specified by Western Kansas Broadcasting and its affiliates. Only one person per household may win a Western Kansas Broadcasting contest within a thirty (30) day period. Listeners are eligible to win a prize or prize package with a combined value of $600 only once every twelve months. Employees of Western Kansas Broadcasting , its participating sponsors/promotional partners, its advertising agencies/businesses, their affiliates, representatives and their families or households are ineligible to participate or win any contest(s) on Western Kansas Broadcasting radio stations. These employees and their immediate families are also ineligible to participate or win for a period of six-months after the termination of employment. Western Kansas Broadcasting is not responsible for phone or Internet malfunctions. All contestants acknowledge, as a condition of entry, that Western Kansas Broadcasting has the right to publicize and/or broadcast his/her name, voice, likeness, or character. When winners call in for a contest, they may be asked to make an endorsement that they are a listener of Western Kansas Broadcasting . Contest-related phone calls made by Western Kansas Broadcasting personnel may be recorded and will be identified as such at the beginning of the call per Federal Communications Commission rules. After receiving an individual’s permission, the call may be aired. Likewise, individuals contacted in person may be recorded with their permission. Winner’s conversations may be broadcast on Western Kansas Broadcasting . All winners agree to grant Western Kansas Broadcasting permission to broadcast the conversation and further agree to identify themselves, and their City of residence. Likewise, all winners grant Western Kansas Broadcasting permission to broadcast their cash and prize winnings as part of live and recorded promotional announcements on Western Kansas Broadcasting or other public media including TV and newspapers. All contest entries become the property of Western Kansas Broadcasting until and after the completed ex*****on of the contest. All tax and other liabilities incurred as a result of any prize are the sole responsibility of the recipient. All winners will receive their cash prize from Western Kansas Broadcasting within twenty-one (21) days after winning. Any prize or prize certificate not claimed within thirty (30) days of winning will be forfeited by the winner. In the event of forfeiture, the prize may then be awarded to a contest runner-up at the discretion of Western Kansas Broadcasting . Prizes will not be mailed. Winners will not be notified of the time remaining to claim their prizes. Western Kansas Broadcasting reserves the right to dispose of unclaimed prizes at the end of the thirty (30) day period. Western Kansas Broadcasting may, due to unavailability of prizes, substitute another prize of equal value. Proper identification is required (valid driver’s license, passport, state ID, or military ID) to claim a prize. In very unique situations, designated representatives will be allowed to accept prizes. Written authorization from the winner is required. Letter must include representative’s name, ID, social security number, and a photocopy of the winner’s identification. Western Kansas Broadcasting will determine what constitutes a unique situation. Western Kansas Broadcasting is not responsible for defective prizes. All prizes are non-transferable, void where prohibited by law. Western Kansas Broadcasting is not responsible for providing lists of prize winners. For contests run on Facebook or other social media sites, entrants and participants agree to release Facebook and all like internet sites from any affiliation with the contest or giveaway. The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Western Kansas Broadcasting , its agencies, affiliates, sponsors, or representatives absolve themselves of any liability, financial or otherwise, resultant of any contest held on or off the air by Western Kansas Broadcasting . Winner agrees to release the station, its licensee, its parent corporations, their affiliated entities, affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, and representatives from any claims relating to the prize or contest prior to acceptance of the prize. By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and without signing any further publicity release prior to airing. Any winner who receives one or more prizes with a combined value of $600 or more in a calendar year will be required to execute a release form and a Form W-9, and will be issued a Form 1099 for the fair market value of the prize. The winner will be required to provide valid picture ID and social security card. Unless we inform you otherwise, contest prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Western Kansas Broadcasting has the sole discretion to terminate a contest at any given time, make additions or deletions to the rules of, or extend or shorten the dates of, a contest at any time. Decisions of station management with respect to contests are final. Western Kansas Broadcasting reserves the right to disqualify any person or persons tampering with the entry process. Contest participants are required to provide truthful information. Western Kansas Broadcasting is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize. Odds of winning depend upon the actual number of qualified entries received. Western Kansas Broadcasting reserves the right to air as many or as few contest promotions on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis as the Management deems necessary to sustain interest in the contest and the promotional values for the station. Western Kansas Broadcasting reserves the right to amend or clarify contest rules at any time. Some prizes are provided to Western Kansas Broadcasting in exchange for promotional consideration.
