The corner of Ewell Place and Cornelius Avenue in Wantagh now honors NYPD Lt. Kenneth Rosello, a 9/11 first responder, with a street dedication. Rosello, who passed away in 2016 from a 9/11-related illness, dedicated 28 years to the NYPD. His legacy of service lives on. Follow the link to read more. 🕊️🚓🇺🇸

Brolly, 27, suffered a spinal injury in a skiing accident and now needs costly treatment to improve his quality of life. Help make a difference for Matthew’s recovery journey. A fundraiser will be held at Mulcahy’s Pub and Concert Hall in Wantagh on Nov. 13 for Matthew Brolly, nearly four years after a skiing accident left the 27-year-old Seaford resident living with partial quadriplegia.

Laura Gillen declared victory over incumbent Congressman Anthony D’Esposito in a close race, while Republicans Steve Rhoads, David McDonough, and John Mikulin held their seats in the state legislature. Town of Hempstead Councilman Chris Schneider celebrated a full-term win, and Andrew Garbarino was re-elected for New York’s 2nd District.
