Keir Gilchrist (It Follows, Atypical), Lucy Hale (Pretty Little Liars), Francesca Eastwood (MFA) and comic legend Jim Gaffigan (my twin) star in this brilliantly quirky rom-com about celebrating life and living it to its fullest. Mortimer is an odd but clever young man living a lukewarm existence in California’s San Fernando Valley until he receives some life-changing news. Determined to make the most of every day, Mort sets out on a spirited quest to find meaning in his existence and discovers the girl of his dreams along the way.

Daniel André is a filmmaker, artist, and music producer born in Cuernavaca, Mexico and raised in NJ, just outside New York City. Mr. André started acting at the age of five and trained in Stanislavski at age nine, working professionally in theater, television and film throughout his teens. Mr. André studied Film and Media Arts at the University of Arizona and Pima College in Tucson, AZ and has a degree in Film & Digital Arts. Currently Daniel is working on his next film THE LAST WILL with GMT FILMS, a biopic based on the memoir, “CURED- The Tale of Two Imaginary Boys” by Lol Tolhurst, one of the founding members of The Cure and a biopic about the life of African American author Iceberg Slim.

Years ago I worked at a bank in Port Washington, Long Island NY and an elderly gentleman would come see me daily with checks he received and most were scams he almost fell victim to. I think he was just lonely and wanted to chat with a friendly person. His name was Milton Maldenovich. He once regaled me with a story of how he discovered a group of young kids in NYC doing this thing called 'rapping'. He was impressed and invited them to record in his studio. The song, Rapper's Delight. The group The Sugarhill Gang.
