The Garberville Rotary is excited to support the KMUD News Team by donating two MacBook Pros for their student journalism class. This program helps students learn valuable skills in audio production and editing for live broadcasts. Our contribution not only supports our local non-profit radio station but also fosters youth development, aligning with Rotary’s commitment to building a stronger, more engaged community!

The Garberville Rotary Club celebrated the 5th Tuesday at the Brass Rail Bar & Grill in Redway! 🍻 Hosted by new Rotarian and owner of the Brass Rail Eryn Snodgrass.
We shared awesome tacos as well as new and old stories about the club and the decades old historic building, Brass Rail Bar.
Check out the picture of a bobcat that used to live in The Brass Rail and hang out on the bar! 😺

We hosted the Humboldt Area Foundation at our last club meeting.

Since 1994, we have been working with them to establish scholarship funds. Through their advisement, the Rotary Club of Garberville has awarded over $131,000 to local youth. We hope to surpass the $150,000 mark soon!

We are proud to share that one of our dedicated Rotarians, Brian Walker, is off on another adventure of doing good! As the Mission Director for Rotaplast, Brian, alongside Medical Director and Rotaplast co-founder Dr. Angelo Capozzi, received a warm welcome from the Rotary Club of Kampala-Nsambya upon their arrival at Entebbe International Airport. This mission continues Rotaplast's commitment to "Save Smiles and Change Lives" by providing transformative reconstructive surgery to children and adults in Uganda.
