A couple of weeks ago, two vehicles were racing on Grant Line from Bradshaw Road. An officer, who was in the area and witnessed the street racing, was able to stop one of the vehicles but was unable to get the other one. Our Traffic Unit conducted follow-up and was able to identify the vehicle. A seizure warrant (Vehicle Code 14602.7) for the outstanding vehicle was obtained. Officers found the outstanding vehicle in town this week and it was impounded for the 30-days.

We know many of you have concerns about reckless driving and other vehicle code violations in other parts of the city. Our officers are actively patrolling and responding to these concerns wherever they occur. If you notice illegal racing or dangerous driving, please report it immediately.

Our community’s safety is a top priority, and we encourage everyone to drive responsibly and report any suspicious or illegal racing activity.
