On Saturday May 21st, 2011 the City of Gaithersburg is having their annual book festival hosting dozens of the world best know writers and JJ Express will be there!
Jack is hosting a workshop about creating comics for social change at 5:00PM -5:45PM.

The most amazing fundraiser yet - thanks to our amazing face painters!! We earned enough money to print 50 copies of our next issue the first day and more than doubled that the second day!!!
Special thanks to Estefania Cruz, Laurence Dubois, John Liu, and Claire Malley. You guys truly rock our socks...and in my universe, the world revolves around all of you!!!

Our face painting booth was THE most popular event of the night - people had to wait almost an hour to get their faces painted by yours truly. The line stretched all the way to the gate and we worked non-stop. Thanks so much to the people who volunteered - Estefania Cruz, Joanne Ly, and Kai Cannon-Hill. You guys rock!!!
