Since Covid, we have had to be closed during the week when school is in because we don't have enough business to justify it. We are hoping that has changed. So, now that all schools are back in session, next week we are doing a trial run. We will be open during the evening to see how it goes. So, please come out and support us this next week.

A MAN IS ARRESTED FOR THREATENING A COOKE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT.

VALLEY VIEW POLICE WERE CONTACTED BY THE FBI AROUND 7 TUESDAY MORNING ABOUT A VAGUE SOCIAL MEDIA THREAT. POLICE ALERTED THE SCHOOL DISTRICT WHICH IMMEDIATELY SENT HOME STUDENTS WHO WERE AT ATHLETIC PRACTICE. HOWEVER, NO ONE WAS IN ANY DANGER AT ANY TIME.
THE 24-YEAR-OLD SUSPECT, SANTIAGO LUNA, WHO LIVES IN TARRANT COUNTY, WAS QUICKLY LOCATED AND ARRESTED.
HE'S BEEN BOOKED INTO THE COOKE COUNTY JAIL ON A CHARGE OF MAKING A TERRORISTIC THREAT.
SO FAR, THERE IS NO MOTIVE FOR THE THREAT.

KGAF BREAKING NEWS:
A fatality accident on I-35 north of Gainesville late last night.
Authorities tell KGAF one man was killed after a fiery crash just after 11pm Saturday night. According to the report, a 2014 Ford F-150 pickup truck was traveling northbound on I-35 near the 504 exit approaching the Red River bridge at a high rate of speed, went off the road, crossed the northbound service road and crashed off road. The driver was ejected from the vehicle.
The Texas Department of Public Safety reports Ryan Thomas Haverkamp, 32, of Lindsay, was pronounced deceased at the scene by Justice of the Peace Carroll Johnson.
No other information is available at this time pending investigation.

A FATALITY VEHICLE ACCIDENT THIS EVENING NORTH OF MUENSTER IN COOKE COUNTY.
AUTHORITIES TELL KGAF THE INCIDENT OCCURRED ON COUNTY ROAD 422 ON THE SOUTHBOUND TO WESTBOUND CURVE THAT LEADS TO THE TURTLE HILL GOLF COURSE ON FM 373 FAR NORTH OF MUENSTER.
A 19 YEAR OLD MALE, MARCUS JOHN ANDERLE OF MUENSTER, WAS PRONOUNCED DECEASED AT THE SCENE.
PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION INDICATES A PICKUP TRUCK DRIVEN BY ANDERLE LEFT THE ROADWAY AT THE CURVE AND STRUCK SEVERAL TREES.
NO OTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME PENDING INVESTIGATION.
