After the cancellation of The Temple of Anubis, a cable-access game show in North Florida in the 1980s, no one thought they would see anything like the temple-escape game again. In 2016, Mystery Brothers Escape Rooms purchased a storage locker full of the game show's props and sets and re-opened the temple, this time turning it into a modern escape game.
