We wanted to share a bit about this song again, now that it is out. I wrote the lyrics after watching and mulling over the scene in The Chosen where they depict Simon (Peter) walking on the water to Jesus. If you have not seen it, it is POWERFUL!!!

Normally, if I have lyric ideas, Mark Dowdy has musical ideas, however this time, it was Graham Mark Dowdy who came up with the musical ideas, and made the track. He and Mark did the background vocals together - they sound so similar now! Mark delivers the lead vocal with such conviction and passion!

Anyway, we hope this song will remind you of the sovereignty of God, and that He has you and will not let you go, no matter the circumstances!

I am blessed to get to work on a lot of interesting projects. I would say this one was interesting and unusual. I had the opportunity earlier this year to write and produce sort of a theme song for the YouTube channel of a family who bought a bus conversion to travel across the country just to spend more time together.
