Top Weekly Songs This Week on Most Requested After Friday

You’ll notice quickly that Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song” was knocked completely out of the Top 5 for the week by Chappell Roan’s “HOT TO GO!” This one was thanks to having a higher placing on The Electric Top 20 Shaboozey was at 19 while Roan’s HOT TO GO was at 16. Higher spot get the higher spot in a tie.

Spots 2,3 and 4 really shows off the Tiebreakers in action. It came down to Teddy Swims, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars and Hozier. All Three songs got 8 points during the week. First Tiebreaker is did the song get a #1 spot during the week? Hozier and Gaga and Mars did. Teddy Didn’t so he gets 4 this week which is pretty strong this week. Now Both, Hozier and Gaga and Mars did get # 1 this week so Tiebreaker # 2 is where are you at on The Electric Top 20? Die with a Smile was at 4 and Hozier was at 11 leading to what we have this week.

The #1 song this week was a very quiet Juggernaut in Most Requested. Myles Smith’s Stargazing is strong It was Number 2 on the Electric Top 20 so it has that Tiebreaker on lock but it didn’t need them as It hit the top spot twice getting 10 points and locking up the # 1 spot for the week. It actually did the same thing as Sabrina Carpenter did this past week but it is impressive none the less.

The songs I would be watching for is Tate McRae’s it’s ok I’m ok and Taylor Swift’s I Can Do It With A Broken Heart. Tate was top song on The Electric Top 20 this past week and only got in at 5 once this week. I expect that one to grow onto the countdown in the weeks ahead. Taylor on the other hand I thought would dominate the countdown but her #1 this past Wednesday has been her ONLY appearance on Most Requested so far. Shocking but the Swifties ain’t really feeling it.

Next week is a Shorten week due to Thanksgiving so a decision needs to be made on how to process that week. Will let you know on Monday.

Pretty interesting first week of The Most Requested's return week.

Sabrina Carpenter dominated the week by getting to #1 twice this week. She also had a couple #2 in there as well this week.

Chappell Roan also had a strong week on Most Requested, with HOT TO GO gaining the top spot this week.

Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga did not get number one this week but "Die with a Smile" has been steady on the countdown.

It sounds like a fake story… The Onion has bought InfoWars but it is a very much real story and it has the Sandy Hook Family to thank for it.

The satirical news publication The Onion won the bidding for Alex Jones' Infowars at a bankruptcy auction.
