From Prisoner of Shame and Guilt to the Power of Purpose—My Story is Just Beginning!
"Tomb to the Light" is about the 30 days before Easter, that I spent in solitary confinement, locked in a small cell, completely isolated from everyone. It was just me and my thoughts. That’s where I would come face-to-face with myself—the raw, unfiltered version of me. There was no escaping the reality of who I was in solitary confinement. I was either going to break, or survive.
It was Father Bill Quigley, who was the one who used the comparison that I was going into solitary confinement like Jesus Christ went into His tomb.
Like the song’s lyrics say, I was in the tomb—burdened by past mistakes, an undiagnosed mental health condition (combat PTSD), and the chaos that came with it. I remember that solitary confinement and the darkness all too well, and it felt like there was no way out.
But just like the song’s promise of resurrection, Jesus Christ emerged in what was the darkest time in my life. In that dark place, I rediscovered my strength, my faith, and my purpose.
As the song says, "through the pain, I was blind, but now I see," and that couldn’t be more true for me. I broke free from those chains, rising into a new life filled with meaning.
Leading Prime Pitch Podcast Network is part of that journey—helping others find their light, just as I found mine. "Tomb to the Light" is more than just a song; it's a reflection of my story—of shedding the past and stepping into a future full of hope and freedom.

Success Isn’t Out There—It’s Waiting for You to See it in Yourself First.
"Who Do You See?" is a moment in my life when I realized that I had to turn the lens outward and that everything I manifested in my life was a reflection of the inner self.
If you know me, you'll agree that it’s not just about introspection, but how that introspection shapes the world we project and interact with.
In the pursuit of success, love, and fulfillment, we often look externally, believing that the outside world needs fixing. We focus on our jobs, our finances, or our relationships, but rarely do we stop to consider that the change we seek on the outside first begins with changing who we are on the inside.
I'm not gonna lie, if I think about this question long enough—“Who do you see when you look in the mirror?”—it gets kind of uncomfortable. It’s uncomfortable because recognizing that the person staring back at me is not just the product of circumstances but of the beliefs, fears, and hopes I hold deep inside.
As I shift that inner narrative, I don’t just change the reflection—I change the world I create for myself. The mirror, after all, doesn’t lie; it shows us what we believe about ourselves, and that belief is the foundation for everything else.

There’s more to love than passion—sometimes, it’s about nourishment. #HydrateMySoul
To My Beautiful Wife Courtney, I made this song, "Hydrate My Soul," because you’ve always been the one who grounds me, who gives me the energy and focus to keep pushing forward. "Hydrate My Soul" isn’t just about the love we share, it’s about how you recharge me, how you replenish my joy, how you make me better.
You remind me to appreciate what really matters, and that balance between the grind and the moments we share is what keeps me happy, fulfilled and sharp. You give me strength, but you also give me peace, and this song is a thank you for everything you bring to my life.
You’re my muse, my anchor, and as long as I’ve got you, I’m always good. Thank you for loving and cherishing me.
I love you! 💯
Guys...tell your lady that she hydrates your soul!

It’s more than music—it’s a mission. 🎶 "Unfinished Business" single is live now! LISTEN TO IT NOW...
Frisco, Tx- The collaboration between Unfinished Business - A Podcast for Veterans Pursuing New Life Missions - means so much more to me than just working together—it feels like a true mission. With the song "Unfinished Business," we’re telling a story that’s personal, that goes deep into what so many of us veterans live through after the battles end.
For us, the war doesn’t just stop when the gunfire fades. We carry those battles inside of us—in our hearts, our minds—and the struggle to find our way back to "normal" is something that continues long after the service is over. But we don’t quit. We’re not done yet. This song is a testament to that spirit, to the determination to rise again, to fight for a new purpose. It reminds us that we are not defined by where we’ve been, but by what we choose to do next.
Working with Prime Pitch on this song has been a powerful experience. They’ve helped us take these raw emotions, these untold stories, and turn them into something that not only speaks to veterans but to anyone who’s ever faced a challenge and fought to overcome it. With their creative energy, we’ve crafted a song that resonates with the heart and soul of every warrior who’s still fighting the invisible battles.
Together, we’re making sure these stories are heard—loud and clear. This song isn’t just for us—it’s for everyone who needs to be reminded that they have more to give, that they can rise through the fire and be reborn. This is my story, this is our story, and through this collaboration, we’re bringing it to life in a way that’s powerful, raw, and real.
It’s an honor to be part of something that shines a light on the journey we’re all on, that honors the unfinished business we’re still fighting to complete. With Prime Pitch by our side, we’re not just creating a song, we’re creating a moveme
"Outrospective Love," the theme song for THE RUSH OUTROSPECTIVE podcast, is now available. Feel the love, live the journey!
"Outrospective Love" perfectly aligns with the core message of THE RUSH OUTROSPECTIVE | A Mastering the Art of Living Podcast, which focuses on self-discovery, growth, and finding purpose through connection with others.
The song's central theme of stepping outside of one's own mind to find truth and clarity in relationships mirrors the podcast's philosophy of mastering life by looking beyond oneself—embracing empathy, connection, and a shared journey of growth.
The lyrics emphasize transformation through collaboration and unity, as the narrator discovers that real fulfillment comes not from introspection alone, but through an outrospective approach, much like the podcast's emphasis on balancing individual and collective values. The uplifting tone of the chorus, "Together, we can touch the sky," echoes the podcast’s aim to inspire listeners to rise beyond their limits by embracing meaningful relationships and community.
With its messages of love, understanding, and mutual support, "Outrospective Love" resonates as a theme song that sets the tone for personal growth, connection, and the art of living—capturing the essence of THE RUSH OUTROSPECTIVE’s mission.

"The War Within" Written by Prime Pitch Podcast Network
Frisco, Texas - In the production of the song "The War Within", I wanted to capture the heart of my story, which is facing my internal struggles head-on. The war and fire in the song are metaphors for the battles I’ve endured inside—battles with trauma, emotional scars, and mental hardships that have shaped who I am. The journey is deeply personal, but it’s one that many can relate to, as we all have our own wars to fight.
My Inner Conflict as a War:
From the very beginning, my life has felt like a battlefield. I was "a child forged in war," shaped by hardship and conflict that began at a young age. The "war within" I face isn’t something visible to others—it’s an ongoing battle inside my own mind. "The bombs don’t stop when the guns are gone" captures how, even when the external chaos of a real battlefield calms down, my inner war rages on. The trauma doesn’t just go away; it’s something I carry with me, something I fight every day, long after the actual events that caused it have ended.
Fire as a Symbol of My Pain and Growth:
The fire in my life represents both the pain I’ve endured and the strength I’ve gained from it. I was "born in the fire," shaped and tested by it. Walking through the flames has left me with scars, but it’s also made me stronger. As I’ve pushed through my struggles, I’ve come to realize that while I’m "not broken," I’ll "never be the same." The fire changed me—it left marks on me that will never fully heal—but it also gave me a kind of resilience I didn’t have before. Surviving the fire wasn’t easy, but it helped me grow in ways I couldn’t have imagined.
My Resilience in the Face of Pain:
Resilience is at the core of my journey. No matter how intense the internal battles get, I refuse to back down. "I stand alone and face it all" because there’s no other choice but to confront these demons. "I won’t let it take me now" is a reminder to
Frisco, TX - "Satellite Dreams" is first a 2017 reflection on a post I wrote about my own deep desire to break free from the cycles and limitations that life often imposes on me. It's a post I entitled, 2017- The Year of Creation.
"Satellite Dreams" is also a reflection and dedication to the 10 week journey I recently devoted to breath work, meditation, visualization and yoga with my private coach, Wendy Knapinski. I can't tell you enough how much this has helped. Thank you Wendy!
At the time, I felt like a satellite, endlessly orbiting in a predictable path, caught in routines that keep me grounded—whether it’s societal expectations, fear of failure, or my own hesitations. But deep down, I craved the chance to break away, to float out into the unknown, even if it means risking everything.
I’ve often acted like I was fine with how things are, but I know I wanted more. I had gotten comfortable, and it’s hard to admit that I was afraid of what might happen if I truly let go.
At its core, this song is my way of reminding myself that I need to trust in my ability to break free, to step out of the predictable orbit and take bold steps toward something greater. I want to let go of the fear that holds me back and finally listen to that voice inside that’s been telling me to risk it all for a chance at real transformation.
It’s not just about dreaming—it's about taking action, trusting in my journey, and embracing the unknown, even if it feels uncertain or uncomfortable.
