Looking forward to seeing the new wildflower garden in the spring. Now is a great time to plant wildflowers and native plant seeds.

🌸 Big thanks to the Friendswood ISD Transition Center volunteers! 🌼

These amazing volunteers recently spread 3 pounds of wildflower seeds at Mustang Field in Old City Park. 🌿 Thanks to their hard work, we can’t wait to see a gorgeous pollinator garden bloom this spring and summer! 🐝🦋🌺

The Friendswood ISD Transition Center supports adult students ages 18-21 who have met their high school graduation requirements. These students work towards individualized goals related to post-secondary plans, learning vital skills in both classroom and real-world settings. The center features a vocational skills lab, a residential-style kitchen, a sensory room, and even a fully equipped print shop, among other facilities, to prepare students for transitioning into their communities and adult life. 🌟

Stay tuned as nature works its magic—this pollinator garden will be a colorful testament to their dedication and hard work! 🌞💚
