Student-athletes who were in the process of transferring to Fresno State were able to skip the waitlist ahead of students in order to fulfill enrollment requirements.

They were given permission numbers and enrolled in both major courses and general education classes, many of which were already full.

Camp Kesem, a volunteer student-led organization at Fresno State, works to support children affected by a parent’s cancer diagnosis.

Camp Kesem is seeking volunteers to help create a supportive experience for these children.

“The main purpose of our camp is to take children’s minds off their situations. Many come from difficult home lives, with parents going through serious challenges, making it harder for them to be fully present.”

The Fresno State softball team enters the 2025 season tied for the No. 2 spot in the Mountain West Conference preseason poll, two spots ahead of where they were at this time last season.

“I think that this season, like, we do have a lot of new leaders on the field,” Catcher and first base Kennedy Bunker said. “I think everybody has to lead in their own way and throughout all the positions.”
