Whatever it is you want, map it out!

Work backwards means this: Draw up & define what is it you want to achieve. Really think about that “i want this” …then map out everything it will take what to get there. Get real specific: due dates, timelines, perspective growth, challenges, skill development, networking; map out every single step it will take to get to that end goal.

After that, start taking those steps. Fall on your face. Get back up. Learn, grow, take another step. Make mistakes, go back to your map and make adjustments, strategize again. Keep working at it and see how much closer you get to that end goal.

This is your path to get to where YOU want to be. Let’s go.

GOT BIG DREAMS? Change your small, everyday habits to get you there. Your sudden burst of motivation and inspiration won’t get you there…consistency will…and consistency only arrives through habits. You can adopt and edit new habits. It takes time but it’s doable.

Sometimes all it takes is one comment, one interaction, one complication to throw you off. All it takes is one glance at your bigger competitors to create internal discouragement. But if you’re climbing up in your own journey, then the last thing you need is to keep fighting yourself: your doubts, lack of confidence, lack of focus.

Instead, try to stop those thoughts in their tracks, before they mess up your energy and momentum. Then immediately jump into becoming your own hype, your own fire. It’s not as easy at first but the more you do this, the more you can drown out your own negative thoughts.

There’s always more you can do to make your perspective and self-thoughts better, but don’t wait around until the right answer finds you. Go get it. Trial & Errors.
