Join Us For an LGBTQ+ Housing Town Hall

We want to hear from YOU! Please join us for an in-person town hall in your region focused on understanding and addressing the most pressing housing challenges facing LGBTQ+ Californians. These events are an opportunity for the LGBTQ+ community and allies to come together, share their unique experiences, and shape the future of equitable housing policy in our state.

Your Voice Matters! These events will help advocates collect insights from diverse LGBTQ+ community voices and use those lessons to bring the most pressing concerns straight to lawmakers. Be part of the conversation that arms advocates with the tools to push for safer and more equitable housing for all LGBTQ+ Californians.

Celebrate youth in filmmaking with a free screening of 12 captivating short documentaries. One five-minute short – “Fresno Pride” (2024) by Angeline Ruiz Cardenas, a local high school student – highlights the history of the Fresno Rainbow Pride Parade and Festival, which was established in 1991.

It includes an interview with Dr. Peter Robertson. He was an inaugural grand marshal, a founding member of United Student Pride, and co-founder (with Ken Fries) of Fresno Reel Pride.

"The Source LGBT+ Center, the organization I work for, is hosting a pop-up event for networking and learning more about the work we do in the Central Valley. Many of our supporters in the community have told me that we do good work, but may not necessarily know too well what it is we do.

In order to reach our stakeholders, supporters, and the Fresno community, staff and board members are hitting the 99 to bring The Source to Fresno for a happy hour with appetizers on the back patio of Veni Vidi Vici.
