🏡✨ Fredericksburg history never disappoints! ✨🏡
Did you know one little house on Hanover Street has stories that stretch from Texas founders to White House staff, Civil War soldiers, Italian and Jamaican immigrants, and even a local pediatric pioneer?
From a Black barber who bought the home in 1826 — and used his earnings to free his entire family — to Confederate troops camping on the property, to a future White House butler, to families who shaped local business and healthcare… 923 Hanover Street has seen centuries of remarkable people pass through its doors.
And thanks to recent renovations, even more hidden treasures were found inside — from old beams to blacksmithing debris, each piece adding another layer to its story.

🎄💡 Does anyone else struggle with Christmas tree lights… or is it just us? 😂
Because OF COURSE the lights would go out on half the tree just days before Christmas. Classic holiday timing, right?
Do I get a new tree right now or enjoy a half lit tree?
If you’ve ever found yourself crawling under branches, unplugging and replugging every strand, or giving the tree a very serious pep talk… we see you. We’re right there with you. 🤣✨
