This streaming-only release features Michelle's one-of-a-kind voice applied to eight (mostly) traditional Christmas favorites. Highlights include her beautiful rendition of O Holy Night, plus her talented stepson Daniel Hannan's recording debut, a duet with Michelle on "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem". This album features Matthew's one for a kind vocals and guitar work with support from Howard Parker's Music Page on dobro and vocals, Michelle Hannan of Michelle Hannan & One Blue Night on harmony vocals, Eric Knowles on banjo, and Jason Hannan - Musician on mandolin, lead guitar, bass, and harmony vocals. Jason also handled production duties. Matthew and Michelle handled photography and art. We're very proud of all the work we did on this album and can't wait for everyone to hear it!

It was produced by Grammy winner Lloyd Maines, who also contributes to the album on several instruments and co-wrote one of the tunes as well. Lots of new music in the works for Waiting for Lester Records, my own little record label. We've got:

Matthew Geiger - Musician's debut solo album - Always Be There For You. This one is completely tracked and will be released in November or December. An Americana/folk/bluegrass release.

Dennis Jay a terrific Texas singer/songwriter has a new album in the can, his first on my label, pending a release date soon.

Wild Aster, a wonderful Americana/folk/bluegrass trio based in Maryland with several songs in the can with a single to be released before the end of the year and an album probably following.

Michelle Hannan & One Blue Night, a Christmas EP scheduled for a Black Friday release.

Gary Palmer's first album, a gospel project, which is about 2/3 completed.

Exciting news! The River Song, Matthew Geiger - Musician's debut single on Waiting for Lester Records, will be released on October 18th to all streaming outlets! The River Song was written by Gary Palmer. Matt sings lead vocals and plays rhythm guitar on the release. He is accompanied by Jason Hannan - Musician (lead guitar, mandolin, bass, harmony vocals), Howard Parker's Music Page (dobro, harmony vocals), and Michelle Hannan (harmony vocals). We're very excited for Matthew and all involved!
