GamePlasma.com was the flagship of the GamePlasma Network which also included ForumPlasma.com, one of the most popular gamer communities of its time, ranking as one of the top gamer communities. GamePlasma was the most successful
independently owned and operated, not-for-profit online publications during 2003-2006. GamePlasma was known throughout the industry for its unbiased and widespread coverage. At its peak GamePlasma covered many events including the Electronic Entertainment Expo, Consumer Electronic Show, and Game Developers Conference. GamePlasma was the successor to NHGN.us and NHGF.net, two websites (an online publication and online community) that evolved from AOL Message Board-based gaming communities dating back to 1997. NHGN.us and NHGF.net ran from 2001-2003.
