I was born and raised in Texas, but have lived in and traveled across the US. This has given me an opportunity to build an extensive network and form close relationships with industry professionals, businesses and community organizations. Just an FYI — the home buying process has changed!🏡

Beginning today on August 17, 2024 a significant shift in the home buying process will take effect. All prospective buyers will now be required to sign a Buyer Representation Agreement with a real estate agent BEFORE viewing any property.

What does this mean for you?

To gain access to properties, buyers must enter into a formal agreement with a real estate agent outlining the terms of their representation and compensation for services.

🚫No More "Just Show Me the House":
Unaccompanied property showings will no longer be permitted.

Agents doing so will now run the risk of losing their license, being dropped from their sponsoring brokerage, and hefty fines.💰💰💰

Understanding the Agreement:
This contract details the agent's duties, the buyer's obligations, and the commission structure.

Commission Negotiations:

While commission rates will no longer be publicly advertised on the MLS, they remain negotiable. Buyers have options to cover agent commissions through seller concessions, direct payment to the agent, or out-of-pocket expenses.

He also studied graduate level courses in Real Estate Finance and Development in 2017-18 at Portland State University and became a licensed real estate agent in 2018.
