Breeawna Stam Littlepage and I were talking last night about bands with multiple lead singers. I told her that all my professional life that no successful bad had more than one singer….. and I just shut up but I want to point out a few successful bands that had multiple lead singers that I personally enjoy,
The Beatles, The Monkees, The Mamas and the Paps, The Eagles, Chicago, REM (yes Mike Mills the bassist sang lead too) U2 (remember songs like Numb….. the edge sang it, not Bono) Foo Fighter (Taylor sang lead on songs too) the Oak Ridge Boys, The Beach Boys, The B52’s, The Temptations, The Four Tops, The Jackson’s /Jackson 5, the Doobie Brothers, Vanilla Fudge, Three Dog Night, Cream, the Byrds, the Traveling Willburys, Etc etc. Anyway that’s why I love having Bree sing with me, we have very different vocals and styles which means we don’t have as many limitations together and I think it makes for a more interesting sound/experience.

So this month is full of neet things that Breeawna Stam Littlepage and so are doing. As usual The McGrath Project is playing two full band shows this month. Both at The TUB Bar. This Sunday the 10th at 2pm for their toy drive and then again on New Years Eve (that’s going to be amazing) and Bree and I are playing every Monday at Shep's from 6-8 in Weatherford. And then next weekend Bree and I are playing The Lakehouse on Friday the 15th and Bankhead Texas Wine Bar in Mineral Wells for their holiday celebration by the ice rink on December 16th! Don’t miss that and then…. Drum roll we are working by with life long family friend Alan Potts and the St. John’s Church Choir for Sunday services 9am and 11am and the churches Lessons and Carols concert/service is December 17th at 5pm. Please t’s free so those who love choral Christmas music don’t miss this one.
But most of all remember the reason for the season is t presents or putting yourself in debt. So come enjoy some music and make memories and miles of smiles. Blest season to you all!
