Mortgage Tech Tip Tuesday!! ***MUST READ AND SHARE!!**
Before applying for a mortgage go to:

The consumer credit reporting companies (Equifax, Experian, Innovis, and TransUnion) are permitted by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) to include your name on lists used by creditors or insurers to make firm offers of credit or insurance that you did not initiate. The FCRA also provides you the right to opt-out (more on that below), which prevents the consumer credit reporting companies from providing your credit file information, known in the industry as a trigger lead.
The credit reporting companies maintain an Opt-Out list if you do not wish to receive these offers. You are not currently on the list. I highly recommend you opt-out via the instructions below. This may not help you this time, but it will in the future.
This will help prevent unwanted calls from mortgage lenders and insurance agents trying to sell you financial products. Instead of working hard to get business, they try to steal it. Iโve had clients get as much as 20 calls in one day.
