I love our gym and all of these kids in it. The bond this group has is so strong! These 8 have been together on the mat for a solid year straight now and man they sure know how to put on a show at the tourneys. Thank you to all the families of our gym, you all know it takes a village with these kids and we make it happen with style! I love our community and everything it stands for as we are all F3 Strong 💪🏻

Couldn’t happen without the love and knowledge that Coach Johnny and Coach Sean give these kids on a daily basis.

She packs everyone and everything you could imagine so that everyone is taken care of! Clothes, toys, food, vitamins, electronics, you name it, she’s got it! We can’t thank you enough momma! 4 division 4 medals and 2 iron man coins. We had some tough matches today in the d2 55 open and the d3 56 open but still managed to snag a 2nd and a 3rd place finish. At only 14 months of wrestling he’s out here wrestling 4 year wrestlers. Still working on keeping our emotions in check when things don’t go our way but we are making progress. Great job Kaedyn we love you so much!

I can’t even really process everything that took place this weekend. Wrestling is tough! Tough on kids and parents as well. November 7th, 2023 Kaedyn hine made his first appearance on a mat to compete. The first month was spent getting beat up going 0-13 before getting his first win. I didn’t know if it was harder for me or for him. As a parent it’s hard to see them fail over and over while continuing to push them to keep trying. His first season was a losing one where he went 20-61. He fought and lost so many hard matches. It wasn’t until that following February we realized just what was missing.

We made adjustments and even went as far as completely moving to a different gym. We found our new home at Fitness Fight Factory ran by Johnny Bedford. We finished out the last couple weeks of the Folkstyle season and then we got our first taste of Freestyle and Greco Roman wrestling the months after.

SUMMER TIME WRESTLING MAKES CHAMPIONS! When the season ended a lot of kids left to play other sports but not Kaedyn. He actually opted to jump into BJJ and even MuayThai while continuing to go to wrestling practice! The practices started at a few days a week and he just kept asking for more. 2 weeks in and he’s in the gym 5 days a week doing multiple classes a day in multiple genres. His hunger to succeed just kept growing more and more as the weeks drug on.

So many nights riding home that boy cried just stressing that he just wasn’t as good as some of his partners. He was starting to raise his standards and even though he was upset and shaken he never once slowed down.

We enter November 2024 and he’s ready to just come out and show off what he’s learned! We dove in head first entering 4 brackets every weekend through all of November and December. He actually wrestled 16 matches in 1 day at the Panhandle nationals medaling in all of them!

The last 5 weeks of the Folkstyle season brings out the best of the best wrestlers and this weekend we tackled week 1 up at the USJOC event in Oklahoma City. Kaedyn took home 1st place in the novice division earning him this printed bracket to keep.

As I sit here looking at it on the wall all those nights and hard practices just rush through my brain. It was a tough year but damnit boy YOU MADE IT and now look at ya! You’ve conquered so many obstacles and shown so many people that you are wonderful young man. The only thing better than your wrestling is the love you give your family. Your perseverance and your eagerness to be great is going to take you wherever you want to go buddy.

That’s about it… these tournaments come and go so quickly you almost don’t even get the chance to celebrate and you’re back out there going for the next one!

Huge shout out to Johnny Bedford again for allowing us into your gym, for the effort you put into your wrestling program and above all the love you give to all of these kids. It shows week in and week out who is putting in all the hard work. To Sean and Hunter, thank you for constantly sacrificing your time to pour your knowledge into my kids. You guys are a huge piece of the puzzle and we appreciate you guys more than you know!
