I just found out the biblical meaning of my NEW last NAME -
I'm a strong believer in the names the Lord chooses for us are directly related to our purpose and calling.
DINA - The Hebrew name Dina means "judged" or "vindicated" and comes from the Hebrew word din, which means "judge". In ancient times, names often reflected a community's religious and cultural beliefs, and Dina represented the idea that a higher power determines one's fate and justice.
BASILIA - In Christian theology, basileia can also refer to the Kingdom of God (basileia tou theou), or Kingdom of Heaven. For example, in Matthew 3:2, it appears in the phrase "And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand".
REYES - Reyes: A Spanish name that comes from the word rey, which means "king" in English. It can be used as a given name or a surname, and it can also be translated as "royals" or "royalty". It's often used as a patronymic or metronymic name to refer to someone who is a descendant of a king or someone associated with royalty.
NEW Married Name
PEREZ - Breach, burst forth, breakthrough. Perez is a beautiful boy's name of Hebrew origin, meaning “breach,” “burst forth,” or “breakthrough.”
When the time of her delivery came, there were twins in her womb. While she was giving birth, one put out his hand; and the midwife took and tied a crimson thread on his hand, noting, “This one came out first.” But as he withdrew his hand, his brother came out; and she said, “What a breach you have made for yourself!” So he was called Perez [which in Hebrew means "to burst forth"].Genesis 38:27-29 l
It is interesting to see such an unusual situation form part of Jesus' genealogy. Perez became an ancestor of King David, and thus of Jesus himself. It certainly isn't "perfect" or "pure," but reminds us of God's mercy and how everyone has a part to play in salvation history, even those who make mistakes.
God can turn our mistakes to work for his divine plan, finding light in the darkness.
