TIMES:4:00 - 9:00 PM

312 Houston St, Fort Worth, TX 761 Wood and Bradley J. Pecherek at the end of 2012.

The Fort Worth Bizarre Film Festival is a festival of short films, 30 minutes or less, which was founded by Travis W. It is named "Bizarre" because the board enjoys the unique storytelling associated with short films. And most short filmmakers do not feel the need to follow a standard full length feature formula. FWBFF accepts and celebrates all genres from all sources (companies, independent film

makers, universities, etc). A professional jury currently working in the film industry is carefully selected to preview the films, and a wide range of jury awards are presented to the winners at the end of the festival. The festival purposely runs one night only (about 4 hours) to give the filmmakers the experience of having their films viewed by a sold out audience (over 200 people), and to place the filmmakers in an environment where they can support each other’s work. Also, we currently ONLY accept films that were produced in North Texas. This helps ensure the attendance of the filmmakers which makes the event more enjoyable. It also gives the local cast and crew the opportunity to view their work on the big screen. FWBFF is IMDB recognized.
