I’m still trying to teach Abbie and Gunner to wipe their paws before coming inside…. 🐾 Going on 9 years now. 🙄

🤣🤣 Okay, but really! What are your very best cleaning tips for teaching small children (2 through 6) to clean up after themselves?!!

Chore charts? 📈 Rewards? 🏆 Threatening tone of voice? 🤬 (TOTALLY just kidding!) Toy rotation? 🧸 (Seems like a lot of work.)

Cleaning always works best when I do it WITH them, but that’s not always an option!! 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’ve been watching Abbie get old and fragile the past year and it makes me so sad!!! She’s 9.5 but due to health issues, she seems so much older. I love looking back at pictures of our adventures together! 🐶💕

🍫 Chocolate, 🧁 cupcakes, 🍩 donuts… This little guy and I love it all! I’ve definitely created a (cookie) monster with Eli. I started a terrible trend at a young age… I just didn’t realize what I was doing. 🤦🏼‍♀️

HOLY MOLY! The temperature dropped so quickly this weekend!!! ❄️ We were literally camping in tents yesterday 🏕️ and on our way home, made the usual pit stop at Buccees. When we got out of the car…. We had to stop and put pants and coats on!! 🤯

It’s already feeling like Summer in Texas and that means LOTS of play! The sun just makes playtime THAT much better, doesn’t it?! ☀️

Every few months we get a new play kit and this last one did NOT disappoint (they never do).

Not only do we use these toys during Reagan’s Occupational Therapy appointments, but all 3 kids play with them every single day (it’s not an exaggeration). 💗💗

What they’re currently loving:

First - The Sink!! Our kids LOVE to play in water. This sink recycles the water so our water bill doesn’t cost a fortune! Hands down their favorite toy in this play kit!

Second - Although Reagan doesn’t understand the full concept of putting the color discs with the same colored columns, it’s fantastic for her fine motor skills to place the discs in a way that enable her to drop them in. She gets frustrated but we’ve been consistent and she’s getting better and better. 🎉

Third - Flower arrangements. All three kids love playing with these flowers; planting them, picking them, and making them into a bouquet. Because of this imaginative toy, we’ve tried naming more flowers when our on walks.

10/10 I recommend the Lovevery Play Kits!! We get an exceptional amount of use from each one and the kids learn so much from them! Although we get the kits for Reagan’s age (currently 25 months), Liam (5) and Eli (4) thoroughly enjoy the contents of each play kit also!

Juice cleanses have become a popular trend that many people don’t know much about! After I went on an unintentional, two-week gluten binge, I was bloated, inflamed, and my body just felt AWFUL. My husband and I made a family goal for 2023 to be more conscious of what we put in our body. 💗 We choose organic foods when shopping at the grocery store, plan to grow a small garden (I’m sure this year will be trial and error, as it’s our first), and when we eat out, we try to choose places that use better ingredients. 🫐🥬 Although we aren’t perfect, we know that the benefits of eating clean are VERY worth it! If you haven’t switched to organic, why not yet? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Learning time! 🏫 Matching objects together is a complex task for babies/toddlers. It's time to start planning for Valentine's Day!! 🥰

Hallelujah! 🙌🏼 After record-breaking temperatures this summer, it's finally in the 80's here in Texas! 🍂 I think I speak for all of us Texans when I say, "Welcome, fall weather!!!". 🥰

The high was 103°F today!! 🥵 We turned on the trampoline sprinklers and let the boys jump around for a bit. The dogs were also loving the water! 💦🐶💕
