BLANC is in search of a part-time Studio Intern to support our Fort Worth location's team in serving patrons, members, and guests. An eager and quick learner, the Studio Intern helps the Community team keep the studios and creative spaces ready for shoots at all times. Our studio and creative spaces are where the magic happens, sometimes for multiple members and guests at once. The studio intern must be aware of when and how the studios are being used and be able to help the Community team and Members schedule time to use the spaces.

In addition to keeping up with the day-to-day operations of the studios, the Studio Intern assists the Community team to oversee prep for rentals. In the Studio Intern role, you will gain first-hand experience in the production industry, as well as an opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture that makes BLANC great.

This position is a part of our residency program which includes a studio membership during the course of the internship.

On the team, you will:

• Build a welcoming community amongst BLANC studio members by offering support during rentals.
• Ensure the studios and creative spaces are fully operational, processes are running smoothly, and studio-related supplies and inventory are well stocked.
• Efficiently handle the day-to-day responsibilities of the studios, such as organizing and logging equipment, maintaining the c*c floor, and possibly give tours.
• Be a friendly face and point of contact during studio rentals.
• Assist in marketing tasks in tandem with the Community Operations Manager, including but not limited to, taking BTS video and photo content, posting to BLANC’s IG, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn page, etc.
• Conduct new rental orientations, including educating members and guests on all relevant BLANC policies and procedures and encouraging usage of the proximity app to activate the space’s amenities.

On the team, you promise:

• You will be customer-centric and member-focused.
• You will own the hospitality initiatives in the space.
• You will work to create a sense of belonging for all.
• You will clean and service assigned areas in an organized manner according to BLANC standards.
• You will be flexible and open to new and innovative solutions that improve studio health.
• You will communicate clearly and effectively to upper management and internal departments.
• You will maintain company standards and expectations.
• You will have a passion and commitment to the business.
• You will be a self-starter, dependable, and solutions-focused.
• You will adhere to the community's rules, guidelines, and best practices to optimize member experience.
• You will operate with understanding, active listening, patience, empathy, and kindness to customers and BLANC staff • You will have a willingness to learn. We share feedback, get feedback, and operate in a culture of being open-minded to grow.
• You will aid in creating a collaborative, joy-filled environment amongst our members through studio rentals, events, networking, and personal introductions.

Success looks like:

• Consistently delivering a legendary hospitality experience to every guest and member of BLANC.
• Clear community cultivation—knowing members’ names, businesses, etc.
• Showing a willingness to learn new skills and assist when needed.
• Being the ultimate team player.
• A functional, clean environment with a focus on operational excellence.

Requirements:
• Reliable Transportation.
• Adaptability and flexibility.
• Excellent written and verbal communicator.
• Track record of relationship building with confidence in networking.

Pay: $2,000 Stipend

Courtney is a multidisciplinary artist currently working in Dallas, Texas. She began her artistic career on the Mississippi Gulf coast until Hurricane Katrina made landfall in 2005. Courtney received her BFA from the University of Wyoming in 2012 and her MFA from the University of Dallas in 2018.

She has taught both Printmaking and Contemporary Art History at the University of Dallas. Presently, she teaches Digital Media at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and aerial classes at SkyPole Fitness. She is the current Artist-in-Residence at Tarrant County College South Campus.

In the summers, she leads printmaking workshops at Mudhouse Residency in Crete, Greece. This Fall she will have a solo show at The Carillon Gallery at Tarrant County College South Campus.

Robin watched her father drawing and creating as a child, which instilled a love for the arts. She initially pursued a Fine Art degree, but achieved a BBA in Int’l Business/Spanish instead. She pursued her love of art once all of her children were in school. Robin was a small business owner of Rustic Charm Designs and she was the Program Manager for the Aledo Art Collective. She now likes to paint and work with many different mediums as she expands her portfolio of work. She is currently pursuing avenues to exhibit her work, working towards opening a studio & accepts commissioned pieces.
