In case anyone is in need of a new tag for your pups I thought I’d share our experience with DogID. (The parent company is RoadID which I’ve used for decades and HIGHLY recommend, especially if you’re a runner/walker/cyclist, have a medical condition, are single or even for kiddos.) We have a rambunctious pack of heelers and huskies and have varying needs for collars and tags. And it probably goes without saying but, we can’t have nice things. We’ve always had great success with the original DogID tag. However, our most recent addition since July is, by far, the MOST heelerish heeler we’ve ever had. This guy is a velociraptor in a baby giraffe’s body. He’s THE sweetest but also a one dog wrecking crew. Within months his tag was completely illegible. I contacted DogID and they were wonderful- immediately offering to replace the tag. They also have a more durable tag and said I could upgrade to that at a DEEPLY discounted price if I wanted to. I don’t know what glue I was sniffing to make the decision to decline that offer but I just took the free replacement of the original. I know this sounds shocking but, a few months later and he’s scratched the replacement to heck. So I reached out again over a weekend and outside of their business hours, no less. But they still responded quickly and they extended the same offers of replacing the same one or letting me upgrade. Needless to say, this time I took the upgrade. Every time they have been so kind and personable and even take an interest in our pups. They also always send a handful of 20% off coupons that I’m happy to share. If anyone wants one, just let me know and I’ll send them until I run out. (And, I also highly recommend their Schitty Kit for managing pit stops on walks.)
