On this day in 2015, I was in between jobs and didn’t have enough money to eat out. My fiancé at the time Silvia bought me some BBQ that I had been wanting for weeks! You can see how happy I was 🤣🤣 You are my rock Silvia Lizama-Ruyle! I ended up finding a job the next month. It’s crazy to look back and see how far we have come. Just have to keep your head down and work as hard as you can!

The European model is stubbornly alerting us to the fact that late next week, brutal arctic air will arrive in Texas. The map below is a temperature anomaly map, showing how many degrees below normal we will be at 6 p.m. on MLK Day. The map indicates the Metroplex will be 37 degrees below normal. Normal temps this time of year are 35-55 degrees.

It's a bit early to forecast precipitation for this week, but we will be watching.

I want to wish a VERY SPECIAL HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my grandpa! Not only did he step in and fill the void of an absent father growing up but he also introduced me to the sport that I love so much! I would not be one quarter of the man I am today without him! He always showed me that no matter what you do, work as hard as you can and it will pay off in the end.

Should I bring him along on a video or two? There would be a lot of things to cut out but I think it would be fun 🤣
