Thanks for the great response to the Hammerhead Straightline/Battle Stikxx Barrel setting a new Guinness World Record for distance using a X7 Phenom set at 275 feet per second. This is a shorter video of the barrel in action. As an FYI, we partnered with Hammerhead because we saw the results you can get with sizing and rifling. We encourage all our fans to check out this barrel. You will be impressed.

Les Stroud, survivalist (also known as Survivorman from the popular television series of the same name), recently played at Wasaga Beach Paintball’s Alien Aggression this last August (playing with a Tippmann X7 Phenom of course). Checkout this interview with Les along with some images from Tomcat Cunningham of the Cat Shack Report. Don’t be surprised to see Les show up at a game where you are playing next year!

The 2010 South Africa Tippmann Challenge run by our friends at PBA (Paintball Africa) earlier this year was once again a great event which featured 28 teams, players ranging in age from 10 to 68 and included 15 women players. Our next two events include the August 13 & 14 at Mirabel Paintball in Montreal Canada August 29 & 30; Holmbush Paintball, Sussex, England. We look forward to seeing your there.

At all Tippmann Challenge events players can also participate in several side events, such as the pistol/pump challenges. This year, players can even take an X7 Phenom out for a spin. Plus, at most Tippmann Challenge events, players will be able sit in on a free tech class that takes them through some basics about how to properly maintain their Tippmann marker.

These events promise to deliver a festival-like atmosphere where players can enjoy paintball, try the latest and greatest equipment at no cost, and also participate in free tech courses to learn how to maintain their Tippmann markers.

The Tippmann Challenge is going to be a huge global event and allows our Fans to meet fellow Tippmann players. We have two events planned in Canada from our friends at BuyPBL (August and October), one in the UK at http://bit.ly/TippChallengeUK (August), and one in the U.S. at Hell Survivors (September), in addition to the ones recently held in South Africa and the U.S. at http://bit.ly/SplatterParkinOhio. Over the next few weeks we will have more information, but consider attending one of these events when you get a chance.
