Deathorcist - Stitched Together EP

Limited run of 30 numbered and handmade lathe cut vinyl, only available at CSR.

Featuring four new tracks from our fuzzed out friends as they sonically shred their way through this psychoactive EP.

Each track taking you on a journey through psych, punk and garage rock, they even find time for a ballad in “Humans Stitched Together For Love.”

Outside of seeing them play a show in Portland, OR we are your only place to get these.

Headquartered in an East Portland graveyard, what once was the mortician’s carriage house is now the studio and rehearsal space of DEATHORCIST.

Ready! Aim! 1!2!3!4! - A Tribute To M.O.T.O. Compilation CD is available for preorder and is now available for streaming on Bandcamp!

The CD version has 33 tracks featuring artists from all over the world.

The digital version includes that plus an additional 30 min of covers that we were unable to fit on the CD.

There are 11 different countries represented on this album and 4 different languages are spoken or sung on it. It features artists from Argentina, Australia, Austria, Canada, China, Finland, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Slovenia and the United States.

We received a very large response to this, thank you everyone for your submissions and for participating in this project.

If you sent an email, shared a post, told a friend, even considered trying to do it, thank you.

The purpose of this compilation was to celebrate the influence Paul’s music has made throughout the years and throughout the world. Long live M.O.T.O.!

We expect to have the CD’s this week and we have our Kill M.O.T.O. vinyl reissue in hand now.

This compilation does not have any Japanese bands on it but the “I Hate My Fu***ng Band - A Japanese Tribute to M.O.T.O.” put out on Secret Mission Records records back in 2017 was a big influence on this project and helped pave the way for its existence so if you like our album please give their’s a listen.

We are almost ready to talk about our compilation Ready! Aim! 1!2!3!4! A Tribute to M.O.T.O. But before that check out these photos for throwback Thursday.

Back in 2009 we had M.O.T.O. play the The Brass Rail in Fort Wayne, IN, for the first of several times. These photos are from when they played in February of 09’ but the poster in the 10th slide is when they came back for another show in July the same year that I don’t have photos for. So pretend that these photos are from that show.

This M.O.T.O. line up features Paul Caporino guitar, Dennis Spaag on bass and Alex Gourse on drums.

The photos also show members of the B-Sharps. That band featured Nick Allison, Mitch Frazier, Timmy Oberley, Alex Allison and Keith Owen.

The show the poster is for had M.O.T.O., Thomas Function, Midnight Creeps & The B-Sharps all on the bill for just $5! What a deal!

M.O.T.O.. - Kill M.O.T.O. Vinyl reissue is now available for preorder.

There are 200 on Transparent Red, 200 on traditional Black and 100 on Opaque White.

This has always been my favorite M.O.T.O. record and I believe it is the best gateway into Paul Caporino’s prolific catalog.

I have a lot of Paul’s records (last slide) but I have never been able to get any of the older pressings of Kill MOTO on vinyl. Now I have 500 copies of it but I will gladly sell you some…

Paul has influenced a few generations of songwriters with his music and this album has many quintessential M.O.T.O. songs on it. The sardonic classic Dance Dance Dance Dance Dance To The Radio (see the music video for this on the 4th slide.) The perpetually relatable I Hate My Fu***ng Job, Choking on Your Insides, Gagging On The Edge of Love, We Are The Rats, I Am A Bomb, I Won’t Give Up Til You’re Mine and more prime MOTO cuts.

In my opinion this was one of the best Rock n Roll albums of the mid 2000’s and it should have a home in everyone’s collection. We are thrilled to be reissuing it.
