Ever wonder how the NFL is able to track and record an insane amount of data? The answer is in RFID tags. According to NFL next gen stats, altogether 250 devices are used in each game and can found as RFID tags in balls, pylons, and within the shoulder pads.

The NFL Next Gen Stats Partnership with Zebra Technologies, Wilson and Amazon Web Services has propelled data collection efforts. Better data, better decision making.
