Our joint AFJROTC/Civil Air Patrol Orientation Flight Program is airborne!!! This program will give our aviation cadets hands-on flying experiences that ties directly into our Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University dual enrollment Principles Of Aeronautics course.

Choctaw AFJROTC is quickly becoming the hub for high school aviation in the area, and our growing aviation program means that our aviation cadets will have multiple chances to take to the skies this year! AIM HIGH, CADETS!

Future Choctaw Aviators- your flying journey can start here: Aim High Flight Academy✈️!

🔹 Who’s eligible?

• Must be at least 16 years old by June 1, 2025
• High school juniors & seniors (Classes of 2025 or 2026)
• U.S. citizens with less than 5 flight hours

🔹 What’s included?

• Up to 15 flight hours – No experience necessary!
• Housing, meals, and transportation covered
• Flight simulator training + ground school
• Training with FAA Certified Flight Instructors
• Mentorship from Air Force aviators 🚁

Our Color Guard was hand-selected to present the colors at the Okaloosa Economic Development Council Roundtable Luncheon with Florida CFO Jimmy Patronis.

This prestigious event highlights our cadets’ dedication to excellence and commitment to community service. We were honored to represent our unit and showcase our skills at such a significant community event.

2024 Pep Rally

Honoring 9/11: A Day of Remembrance and Patriotism

Our AFJROTC led a special 9/11 remembrance ceremony to honor the lives lost and the spirit of service and sacrifice that day represents. The first event, held in our school's auditorium, was a collaborative effort uniting the entire school community. The Madrigal Singers performed the National Anthem, the Indianettes performed a tribute dance, and our cadets conducted a solemn flag-folding ceremony. In addition, our premier color guard proudly presented the colors at a community 9/11 event at Destin/Ft. Walton Airport. Both ceremonies reminded us of the unity and patriotism that 9/11 continues to inspire in all of us.
