We have a youth subcommittee group that has pulled together ones from the school system, juvenile court, non-profits, Law Enforcement, Middle Flint Health and Wellness, (P.C.'s mental health services provider), iHope, GA DBHDD and others that work with youth. This is the first event, so any help spreading the word to young people that might benefit from this would be greatly appreciated!

Effective immediately - Yard Debris and Bulk Item Pickup has moved in-house to Peach County Public Works. As part of this change, all Yard Debris and Bulk Item Pickup is moving from a route concept to a SCHEDULING concept.

To schedule a pickup, contact Public Works at: 478-825-8717

Each household is limited to 2 pickups per MONTH. We are currently working to clear any backlog of Yard Debris items. Please see the Solid Waste Brochure included with your tax notice for additional details.

Hwy 96/341 Railroad crossing intersection improvement

Informal drop in to look at plans or ask questions as well as public input.
This will make so 341 North & South can access overpass to get around/over the train but will involve intersection being closed for around 8 months in 2023.
If you’re from the area, around Troutman Ave, Peachtree and surrounding neighborhood or know someone that lives in the area, please let them know, as this will temporarily increase traffic through their area as detour streets and though this should fix the problem it will cause some temporary aggravation.
