Here is the latest extended HRRR futurecast radar. This model is showing most of the heaviest rainfall occurring across southeast #Oklahoma and western/southwestern #Arkansas before pushing into central and southeastern Arkansas by Thursday afternoon. Keep in mind across the lower elevations of Ouachitas as run off can cause hazardous conditions near creeks and streams. This could cause some flooding across flood prone areas. If you come across a flooded roadway, TURN AROUND!! DON'T DROWN!! #ARwx #okwx #rvwx #WeatherForecast #WeatherUpdate #floodwatch #TurnAroundDontDrown #ShareThisPost

The first wave of rain is moving through the #rvwx region from southwest to northeast. Expect light to moderate rain showers over the next few hours. This round of rain will not produce flash flooding. However, that risk will start to increase over the next 4-5 hours as training cells start to become common across southeast Oklahoma and western Arkansas. #ARwx #okwx #WeatherUpdate #rainydays #floodwatch
**RVWX Weather Update**
After watching the models for the last day, I feel that areas in southeast Oklahoma and western/southwestern Arkansas and central Arkansas will see the highest chances of some light rain tonight and tomorrow afternoon/evening. The GFS so far has the best accuracy on this activity, rather than the short term models. However this could change so keep tuned to my radar updates. #arwx #okwx #rvwx #weatherupdate
